The Farmington Community Health Center (Presbyterian Medical Services) is proud to welcome psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, Georgina Rotzler. Rotzler comes to PMS from the State University of New York — Delhi College of Technology, where she served as a Clinical Instructor for inpatient mental health services. She completed an Associate's degree in Nursing at North Country Community College in New York and later received Bachelor's in Nursing and Master's in Nursing degrees with a focus on Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at State University of New York Upstate Medical University.
Rotzler entered the behavioral health field when she became aware of a severe shortage of providers that meant clients often waited for months before being seen. "Becoming a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner means I can help with this shortage. Plus, I can act as an advocate for the client population and the discipline of behavioral health." Rotzler is married with two adult sons and one grandchild. She looks forward to using her Spanish skills while providing a variety of behavioral health services to the local community.
