Marvin Burns, of Peck, Mich., and Herlinda Burriso, of Oscoda, Mich., announce the engagement of their daughter, Julia Burns, to Rob Reynolds, both of Farmington.

Reynolds is the son of the late Mike Reynolds and Janice Reynolds, of Farmington. He is a graduate of Farmington High School and attended San Juan College and Fort Lewis College. He is employed by Sun Glass.

Burns is a graduate of Peck High School, Saginaw Valley State University, Saginaw Mich., and Grand Canyon University. She has a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education and is working toward a master's degree in teaching. She is a 7th grade math teacher at Heights Middle School.

The couple met on Myspace.com. Reynolds proposed on the gondola ride in Telluride.

A July 4 wedding is planned at Cascade Village in Durango, Colo.
