John and Linda Loman, of Surprise, Ariz., and Don and Jan Wiley, of Farmington, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Wiley, to Kevin Fancher Jr., of Farmington.

Fancher is the son of Kevin Fancher Sr. and Antoinette Sawyer, of Phoenix. He is a graduate of Thunderbird High School in Phoenix and works for Monarch Properties.

Wiley is employed by Zebadiah's in Farmington.

The couple met through a mutual friend.

A June 7 wedding is planned at Brookside Park.
