The Daily Times article on Feb. 8, "Book Calls Evolution Theory Racist," clearly shows the danger of letting religious thinking get into politics or government. The aim of the religious right is to brainwash as many children into their redefined illogical world, so they will continue the propagate it. Creating a museum that promotes made-up history and using racism to try to discredit science, shows the insanity of their cause.

We must oppose the use of any government-funded programs that allow children to attend religious schools at taxpayer expense. To even allow this to be raised in the South Carolina board of education indicates a lack of intelligence in government. Fortunately, there is some still left, but for how long?
