The senior wide receiver caught three touchdowns and coupled that with two interceptions on defense in Piedra Vista's 54-0 win over Bernalillo on Friday night.
Martinez is a major reason the Panther offense has exploded for 48 points per game this season and said he is excited that his team has so many weapons to choose from.
"After going through the last couple of years, especially last year, we didn't have a lot of other guys, so defensives would double and triple team me," he said. Hopefully, everyone will see that and follow my example."
Martinez's goal following high school is to continue playing in college and said he will do anything in his power to make that happen.
"I've had a lot of letters from JUCOs," he said. "The goal is to play ball and if I have to go JUCO or walk-on somewhere then I'll do that."
