FARMINGTON — One Farmington woman was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and another was issued a citation for child neglect on Wednesday night.
At 7:59 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a report of a disturbance at 1703 Farmington Ave., according to a press release from the Farmington Police Department.
During their investigation, officers learned Ivana Bryant, 36, had driven a red Ford pick-up truck from Berg Park to the apartment complex on Farmington Avenue, a little more than a mile away.
She and Rheanna Lasiloo, 36, had allegedly been drinking alcoholic beverages together since around noon, and Lasiloo was reportedly heavily intoxicated, according to the press release.
Lasiloo and her 7-month-old child were passengers in the truck, police said.
When police arrived on scene, Lasiloo was unable to care for the child due to her intoxication, according to the press release. Police released her and the child to Lasiloo's father, and Lasiloo was issued a citation for child neglect.
Bryant was arrested on suspicion of felony child abuse and her second aggravated DWI.
