FARMINGTON — A prayer vigil for the child injured in a car wreck on Sunday is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. today.
The vigil for Ethan Murray will take place in the parking lot of Home Depot, 3560 E. Main St. in Farmington.

Murray was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque Sunday for injuries suffered when the Kia Sol he was riding in was rear-ended by a red Ford F-250 truck driven by Mihdi Bathke near the intersection of Country Club Drive and East Main Street.

Ethan was unconscious when he was extracted from the Kia Sol. He had multiple skull fractures, lacerations on the back of his head and a broken jaw.
