FARMINGTON — The Farmington Fire Department responded to a small-business fire on Monday afternoon that was quickly contained.

Three Farmington fire engines responded to a report of a warehouse fire at 4:46 p.m. at the Overhead Door Company of The Four Corners at 2718 Inland St., just off state Highway 170, according to Farmington Fire Department Battalion Chief Todd McCarville.

The fire was located in the back of the business.

Some items including two-by-four pieces of wood and cardboard were destroyed in the fire but no structural damage was found.

The fire was mostly contained when they arrived on scene and there were no injuries, McCarville said.

An employee using a cutting torch started the fire.
