AZTEC — The Good Samaritan Society's Four Corners Village is celebrating National Nursing Home Week through Saturday.

National Nursing Home Week is reserved for reflections about how long-term care centers, residents and staff members are a part of the community. The American Health Care Association established the week in 1967.

"During National Nursing Home Week, we celebrate and give special thanks for those who work in and live in long-term care centers," said Vani Barry, director of the Four Corners Village, in a press release. "We also recognize the contributions from family members and community members. Their support goes a long way toward making our center a home for residents."

The Good Samaritan Society's Four Corners Village is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society, a not-for-profit organization that owns and operates more than 240 rehabilitation and skilled care centers and senior living communities in 24 states.
