FARMINGTON — The Bureau of Land Management's Farmington District is accepting nominations for three open positions on the Farmington District Resource Advisory Council.

The agency will accept nominations until May 23.

The council consists of 10 members with an interest or expertise in public land management.

"The advice given to the BLM by these citizen-based Resource Advisory Councils is a vital part of the BLM's collaborative approach to land management," said BLM-New Mexico State Director Jesse Juen in a press release.
