Farmington — Central Consolidated School District board members will have a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Shiprock Board Room.

According to the special meeting agenda, the board will convene in executive session to discuss Superintendent Don Levinski's evaluation and contract.

This evaluation is "routine" and is completed annually by board members, CCSD spokesman James Preminger said.

Preminger added there is no time limit for an executive session.

"We could have scheduled it during a regular meeting. Because of the time involved, they decided to do it separately," he said.

The agenda also lists discussion and action items regarding the superintendent's contract.

In February 2013, board members voted three in favor and two opposed to renew Levinski's contract through June 2016.

Levinski was named acting superintendent in May 2011, replacing former Superintendent Gregg Epperson.
