BLOOMFIELD — The New Mexico Department of Health's Bloomfield Public Health Office reopened its doors Monday.
The office, 903 W. Broadway Ave., has been closed since Nov. 21 when a water line underneath the county-owned building ruptured, flooding the parking lot and ground floor.
San Juan County work crews mopped up the mess and repaired the broken line while Bloomfield Public Health Office staff helped clients at the Farmington office at 744 West Animas Ave.
The Bloomfield office offers health programs like screening for sexually transmitted diseases, family planning and smoking cessation support.
All services previously absorbed by the Farmington office have returned to the Bloomfield Public Health Office as scheduled. For more information, call the Bloomfield office at 505-634-0229.
