FARMINGTON — A 64-year-old man injured in a rollover crash earlier this month in Farmington has died, according to Farmington police.

Ronnie Reynolds, of Farmington, was involved in a wreck on Piñon Hills Boulevard near the Farmington Sports Complex on Oct. 9, Farmington police Lt. Taft Tracy said.

Reynolds died Wednesday morning, Taft said. The New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator determined that injuries from the crash caused his death, Tracy said.

Police said in a previous news release that Reynolds was traveling westbound when his car struck a curb on the right side of the road, rotated, hit the center median and flipped over.

Farmington Fire Department crews removed him from his car.

Toxicology reports are still pending, police said.

Reynolds was the 11th person killed as a result of a car wreck on a San Juan County road this year. He was the second person this year to die because of a crash within Farmington city limits.
