Shortly before 2 p.m., an employee of Air Drilling Associates reported hearing a bullet pass by his head. He said the bullet came from the direction of Farmington Lake, which is across the road from Air Drilling Associates, according to sheriff's office Deputy Sam Cordova.
Witnesses told deputies that they had seen two people in an old blue Chrysler Sebring arguing. The people then got in their car and drove away. Only seconds after they left, the witnesses reported hearing shots.
Deputies closed Farmington Lake to people entering, and they questioned people as they left the lake. They also searched the vicinity for shell casing.
Cordova said they currently have no suspects.
