FARMINGTON — The Daily Times will display from from Kirtland Central and Piedra Vista high school students during the Fall Art Walk.

Kirtland Central students worked on collages of themselves, and Piedra Vista students created art of various mediums, from paintings to photography.

Some of the art, like a painting by Piedra Vista student Kyla Davis, promotes a message. Her painting portrays a dog saying, "Don't kill my children." A message below urges people to spay and neuter pets.

Other pieces, like "Regally Native" by Kirtland High School student Aubri Blueeyes express a cultural pride.

The show continues through Nov. 8 in the Community Center, located on the first floor of The Daily Times, 201 N. Allen Ave.

The community center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
