FARMINGTON — A man who said he was a Tortilla Flats gang member is accused of pulling a knife on Club B-Lounge patrons and bouncers late Friday night.
Quintan Wright, 26, was arrested for suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a peace officer and resisting and obstructing an officer.
At 11:45 p.m. on Friday, police were called to the B-Lounge after a man with a knife was reported in the parking lot.
Police said Wright and two other men fled from police toward America's Best Value Inn. Police caught up to Wright and he resisted them. He was tackled and detained, according to court documents.
Wright and the two other men were reportedly in the B-Lounge and they started a fight with a person at the bar, and then with bouncers as they were being escorted from the club.
At one point during the altercation, Wright allegedly pulled a knife and threatened Zachary White, a bouncer, and other patrons, according to court documents.
The bouncers said they were able to get Wright and the other two men out of the bar and lock the doors, according to court documents.
The suspects made several references to being gang members during the arguments. The Tortilla Flats gang has been implicated in crimes in the Farmington area.
Brice Wright, of Farmington, was also arrested and charged with a misdemeanor for obstructing an officer in connection to the incident.
