FARMINGTON — Farmington City Council will decide what to do with worn-out, unusable or obsolete city vehicles at Tuesday's scheduled meeting.
If approved, the vehicles will likely be disposed of through the city's online Public Surplus auction system, which sells the unwanted inventory to the highest bidder.
Cars in the potential sale include a 1992 Jeep Cherokee, several Ford Crown Victorias, pickup trucks and a Chevrolet Impala sedan.
Also on the agenda will be votes on whether to approve grant funding from the New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management for reimbursement for expenses for hazardous materials response training.
The regular meeting will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 800 Municipal Drive. For more information, contact the city clerk at 505-599-1106.
