FARMINGTON — The Farmington Grower's Market will combine locally grown food with a good cause on Saturday.

From 8 a.m. to Noon at the Farmington Museum, 3041 E. Main St., members of the San Juan Animal League will be on hand accepting cash donations or blankets, sheets and newspapers for the animal shelter. Residents can also purchase the market's early summer spoils, including early greens, peas, eggs, breads, and plants.

Master gardener Sarah Teofanov will take questions and give gardening and local food information at the market's community table.
