FARMINGTON — When Miranda Lambert's most recent album, "Four the Record," debuted on top of Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, Lambert became the first country artist in 47 years to have each of her first four albums debut at number one.
"Four the Record" went on to win the ACM Album of the Year Award.
At 7 p.m. Friday, Lambert will be joining fellow country-music star Dierks Bentley in Albuquerque for a concert at Isleta Amphitheater as part of the 2013 Locked and Reloaded Tour.
In addition to singing, Lambert dedicates her time to MuttNation Foundation, which raises money to fund no-kill animal shelters, pet adoption and neutering clinics for pets.
Bentley combines classic country songwriting, bluegrass instrumentation and the rock n roll energy to his albums.
He released his sixth album, "Home," earlier this year. The album has been nominated for three 2012 Country Music Association awards — Album of the Year, Single and Song of the Year, for its title song. He has also been invited to join the Grand Ole Opry.
