FARMINGTON — At the Farmington Municipal Schools board of education meeting Thursday night, the board awarded a $633,227 contract for Mesa Verde Elementary School's heating and air conditioning work to Nedak Construction.

The project calls for replacing the existing classroom wall heaters, ceilings, ducting and lighting in the southern and the middle corridors of the building.

The bid by Nedak Construction is lower than the $1.1 million estimated by the school district. The project is paid for by a bond passed in 2010.
