AZTEC — The Aztec City Commission is slated to vote on whether to award a contract for phase 1A of the East Arterial road project at its regularly scheduled meeting at 6 tonight at city hall, 201 W. Chaco St.

The project will create a bypass for heavy truck traffic that uses Main Avenue. The Commission also will discuss airport improvements at a workshop scheduled for 5:30 tonight. Visit aztecnm.gov or call (505) 334-7600 for more information.
