If the Madden NFL 25 video game is to be believed, Super Bowl XLVIII is going to be epic.

The E.A. Sports video game released its Super Bowl simulation of Sunday's game between Denver and Seattle and the outcome has the Broncos pulling out a 31-28 overtime victory in a snow storm at MetLife Stadium.

The video above runs as a quick highlight reel of the game.

Richard Sherman makes some plays, including a pick-six interception, but the game ultimately ends with Peyton Manning's brilliance.

Manning orchestrates a strong second half and then a game-winning drive in overtime, setting up a Matt Prater field goal through the snow for the win.

Granted, the actual forecast for Sunday in the Meadowlands calls for rather tame weather, with a high of 36 degrees and only a 20 percent chance of precipitation.

The Madden franchise does a simulated prediction for the Super Bowl each year and has a track record of success. As Deadspin points out, Madden has correctly predicted the winner in eight of the past 10 years and is also 7-3 against the betting point spread over that same time.
