In your article concerning the U.S. Marshal who assisted in (Marszalek's) suicide. This shows clearly the arrogance and cavalier view of death by the San Juan County law enforcement.

There is a debate in our country about assisted suicide, most states don't allow it. Yet the Marshal's Service condones and encourages it. The people applaud the marshal who while the person is stabbing himself in the neck, with blood spurting, he pops a cap and kills the person.

Maybe, like the F.P.D. outreach to the homeless, this could be a kinder gentler method to solve the (problem of) deranged people (suffering from) years of mental illness. Maybe the Marshal's Service have medical degrees and can, when services are needed, assist in more suicides.
