The Daily Times Editorial Sunday April 13th; Quote: "A few loud complaints about overbearing government restrictions buried common sense."
"Truth is now out" the 160 page Ordinance 84 was and is a "zoning plot" in violation of private property rights and it's all about "commerce."
How foolish to suggest that those of sound mind would oppose lawful regulations on adult industries, however to ignore, that "we the people" are in opposition to tyranny from all forms of government shows the lack of knowledge in regards to the "rule of law" that this country was founded on. The ignorant individual/s responsible for the editorial couldn't find common sense with a road map!
Based on this editorial, it appears as though the side-saddle staff at The Daily Times is completely ignorant of the fact that this Republic was made up of "rugged individuals" and for their information, we still have bears and wolves as part of our landscape.
So who are the "few loud complainants!"
Those bold and determined individuals of the Concerned Citizens Group fighting for the constitutional rights of the people here in this county! Their noble efforts to suppress "the insurrection" taking place here in San Juan County should be the battle cry throughout this republic! Even though the proposed ordinance did cost $350,000.00 of taxpayer money paid to someone else (besides those elected to do the job) to write, and the mere fact that the ordinance, like most, violates the guaranteed rights of the people, let's forget that issue as it's way too deep a subject for those who sponsored the editorial to comprehend, and let's concentrate on the fact that, among other issues, the San Juan County commissioners are themselves knowingly and in violation of the law!
Note (from New Mexico Statues-Amended); "All persons elected or appointed to an office and serving unconstitutionally and unlawfully as state or county officials" having failed to give, file, and record, "the constitutionally and statutorily mandated bond" binding them to the promises contained in their oath of office, not only voids their office and any regulations they attempt to impose on the people, but their use of public funds as salary for personal use in excess of $20,000.00 constitutes embezzlement of Taxpayers money in clear violation of Section 30-16-8F, and those acting as members of a criminal oligarchy constitutes "a second degree felony."
Considering the fact that government's only right to exist is to protect and defend the rights of the individual, I wonder why The Daily Times isn't reporting that
story? It's bad enough that those elected and or appointed to office here in San Juan County are apparently operating a de-facto government, but it also appears
as though in their ignorance, the folks down at The Daily Times are engaged in the conspiracy to commit fraud by suppressing the truth?
