On Easter Sunday around 9:30 a.m. I was leaving church and to my horror I hit a cat that ran across Apache Street west of Dustin. I turned around, parked and got a towel out of my car and gently picked up the cat. I could tell it was badly injured. A short time later it died in my arms. I brought the cat to my home and we buried it on our property, shedding a few tears. I just wanted to write this letter in case someone is looking for their orange tabby adult cat in that area and to let them know how sorry I am as to what happened and that the cat was lovingly taken care of.
