FARMINGTON — A Farmington man was killed in a motorcycle crash near Hesperus, Colo., on Saturday afternoon.

Glen Henderson, 55, was traveling east on U.S. Highway 160 with Mary Henderson, 50, when he lost control and collided into a guardrail, said Colorado State Patrol Trooper Nate Reid.

Glen Henderson died at the scene. Mary Henderson was taken St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo., to be treated for serious injuries.

The crash happened at about 2:10 p.m. near mile post 69, which is near Hesperus, Reid said. It was raining at the time of the crash.

Both the Hendersons were wearing helmets.
