FARMINGTON — A Farmington man was stabbed in the stomach Tuesday night at the Hummingbird Trailer Park.
Alonzo Largo, 32, underwent emergency surgery at San Juan Regional Medical Center late Tuesday, according to a Farmington police news release.
He was in fair condition at the hospital on Wednesday, spokeswoman Kathryn Pettijohn said.
Police said Ronnie Anderson, 27, stabbed Largo when the men were arguing about clothes near a home on Gila Street in Farmington. Police were dispatched to the scene shortly before 10 p.m.
Anderson was arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and tampering with evidence.
Police said alcohol appeared to be a factor in the incident.
Investigators were working to determine where exactly the stabbing took place, Farmington police Lt.
Taft Tracy said.
The suspect was arrested inside his mobile home in the park and police found the victim walking to his mobile home.
