Thanks to everyone who made the 2009 Four Corners Equine Rescue Open House such a success.

The weather cooperated, and we had a great turnout. Our guests enjoyed a silent auction, horse-training demonstrations, food from the grill, and our annual yard sale.

They also had an opportunity to learn about FCER and, best of all, take a barnyard tour and meet the horses.

The children had fun having their faces painted, searching a hay pile for toys, and riding our big American Cream Draft Horse, Miss Mary.

We want to extend special thanks to all the businesses and individuals who donated items for our silent auction. You are the best!

And to our volunteers — we couldn't have done this without you. We appreciate your commitment, not only at Open House and other events, but every day of the year.

As always, we rely on the continuing support of our members, sponsors, and the community to fulfill our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and find loving homes for abused horses.
