Mandi came to the news desk via the sports route. She was an eight-time award-winning sports writer before switching to news when she made the move to New Mexico.

At The Daily Times, Mandi leads a team of four multimedia editors who do everything from copy edit stories, to design the front page and update the Web site.

Mandi is a Colorado native and alumni of the University of Colorado (GO BUFFALOES!). She worked as an intern at Sports Illustrated and has followed her journalism career from New York City and the Florida Gulf Coast to South Carolina and back to Colorado. You can find her at the gym, in front of the the TV watching sports or just reading a good book.
