Lucas Ian Coshenet is a 26-year-old native New Mexican. He was born and raised in Las Cruces and graduated from New Mexico State University in 2004 with a degree in journalism and a minor in Spanish. He likes watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers. He enjoys playing pool, watching movies and relaxing with his friends on his days off. The thing he enjoys most about his job is the daily challenge to create illustrative and compelling images for the public. Being a photographer also provides him with an opportunity to meet new and interesting people everyday. After interning with The Daily Times and the Albuquerque Journal, he was hired as a staff photographer in July 2006.
