Eric Fisher, Daily Times managing editor. Fisher is the No. 2 editor in the news department. He has direct supervision of the reporters at The Daily Times and works closely with the editor and other staffers on daily newsroom operations.

Fisher has more than 18 years experience in the newspaper industry, including an 11-year stint at the Carlsbad Current-Argus in southeastern New Mexico. He held several editor titles while in Carlsbad, including managing editor and sports editor.

He returned to his hometown of Farmington in 1999 as editor of The Four Corners Business Journal — a position he held until 2005. Following a year out of the business, he joined The Daily Times in August 2006 as city editor and was promoted to managing editor in May 2007.

He enjoys spending time with his family, taking part in outdoor activities, and is widely known as a Pittsburgh Steelers fanatic.
