The open house is from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, at the San Juan Regional Medical Center's Outpatient Diagnostic Center, 2300 East 30th St.
The hospital now offers digital mammography, which provides more detailed images and can help doctors make better diagnosis, according to a hospital news release.
The new mammogram machines include sensory technologies that allow patients to see, hear and smell gardens, waterfalls and beaches while they get a mammogram.
People who attend the open house will be able to schedule a mammogram at the end of the tour.
People can also schedule a mammogram by calling 505-609-6228.
