FARMINGTON — A woman was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after she caused a crash at La Plata Highway and Main Street on Tuesday night.
The crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. The suspect and the woman who was struck suffered minor injuries.
Kesha Holder, 23, was driving west on Apache Avenue and people to police that she was weaving, said Farmington police Lt. Taft Tracy.
Holder continued west and drove her car into 18-year-old Catelyn Egan. Egan had just merged onto West Main from La Plata and her rear driver’s side door was hit.
The collision caused Egan to skid over a curb, and her car came to a stop about 30 feet from the road in the bottom of a drainage dith, Tracy said.
Tuesday’s crash was the second alcohol-related crash at the intersection in the last week.
