At about 8:40 p.m., Geneva Nargo, the manager of Kay's Jewelers, was leaving work when a man approached her in the east side of the mall parking lot, Lt. Taft Tracy said.
The man said “excuse me” and when Nargo turned the man pushed her in the chest and she fell to the ground. He grabbed her purse and fled.
Tracy said the man got into the passenger side of a an early 2000's GMC Jimmy SUV which drove toward English Road. Officers couldn't find the vehicle.
The suspect was described a man about 5 feet, 6 inches tall with a buzzed haircut. He was wearing a white pullover and black pants.
