GRANTS (AP) — Authorities say 13 people in northwestern New Mexico's Cibola County face drug trafficking and weapons charges as a result of a multiagency investigation.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Albuquerque says 11 of the defendants were arrested Tuesday and that a 12th was already in custody, leaving one at large.

The investigation was led by the Drug Enforcement Administration and New Mexico State Police with assistance from the Grants Police Department.

The U.S. Attorney's Office reports that law enforcement seized methamphetamine, heroin, more than $30,000 of cash plus 10 guns, body armor and a vehicle.
