FLORA VISTA — A person was shot at a residence near Flora Vista early Monday morning.
Tyson Mclamee, a 30-year-old Flora Vista man, was shot twice at a home on County Road 3180 at about 3:40 a.m. Monday, San Juan County Sheriff's Office Spokeswoman Beth Utley said in a news release.
Mclamee had surgery at San Juan Regional Medical Center and was in fair condition Monday afternoon, Utley said.
Utley said a vehicle left the scene shortly after the shooting.
The vehicle crashed around the 63 mile marker of U.S. 64 and two men fled the vehicle.
Investigators found two females inside the car after the crash. They have not been charged with a crime.
The sheriff’s office said the two men who fled the crash are William Wilson, of Flora Vista, and Brandon Roe, of Bloomfield.
William Wilson, a 21-year-old Flora Vista man, was arrested at about 5 a.m., wearing a pair of coveralls he had allegedly stolen from a truck to disguise himself.
He has been charged with aggravated burglary, larceny, three counts of tampering with evidence, one charge for drug paraphernalia and once charge related to drug trafficking, Utley said.
Roe, 25, is still at large. A warrant for aggravated fleeing was issued Monday morning.
The residence was surrounded by crime tape and investigators worked the scene throughout the day Monday.
