Farmington police said a man and two women burst into a family's home in Farmington with a gun Wednesday night during a robbery.
The suspects threatened the family, stole property and fled prior to police arriving on scene.
The incident happened at 10 p.m. Wednesday at a home on Melba Lane. Police said Friday evening that Alton King, 40, had been arrested and charged with armed robbery, aggravated burglary, battery, shooting from a motor vehicle, child abuse and other charges, according to a press release from Farmington police.
King is being held at San Juan County Adult Detention Center on a $175,000 bond.
King has multiple felony convictions in San Juan County dating back to 2002 for robbery, false imprisonment, felony DWI, according to a state court website.
