FARMINGTON —A 24-year-old man was stabbed Saturday afternoon, Farmington police said.
The man was transported to San Juan Regional Medical Center by a passerby to be treated for minor stab wounds to his left arm, Farmington police Cpl. Mark Gaines said. The man had parked his car on Browning Parkway when another driver saw the injured man and drove him to the hospital.
The incident was reported to police at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Police said the original altercation may have happened near Southside River Road and Dustin Avenue.
The white Chevy pickup truck stayed parked on Browning Parkway for more than an hour as police investigated the crime scene.
About an hour after the incident, Gaines said no suspect was in custody and there was no information on who the person might be.
The victim was not seriously injured.
