FARMINGTON — The city’s annual Christmas Parade will kick off the season tonight at 5:45 p.m. in Downtown along Main Street.

This year’s theme is New Mexico Centennial Christmas.

“People in San Juan County love a parade,” said Dorothy Nobis, President and CEO of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce. “People start anticipating it over the summer. We’ve been working on it since mid August.”

Grand Marshal is Bert Levine, long time Farmington resident and former Chamber of Commerce president.

“We’re delighted to honor him,” Nobis said.
