FARMINGTON — The Four Corners Foundation will hold a ground breaking and tree planting ceremony for a new emergency homeless shelter at 4 p.m. Thursday at Boyd Park, 200 South Miller Ave.
The emergency housing, called A Path Home, will replace the PATH shelter and is the first of two housing projects.
A Path Home is a 13,600 square foot facility designed to house 60 individuals and four families. The second phase will provide transitional housing.
The Four Corners Foundation has raised about $1.7 million of their $3 million goal to date.
