SANTA FE (AP) — New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez is in Nevada for a meeting of the Republican Governors Association.
Martinez spokesman Scott Darnell said Martinez is attending the association's annual meeting, which runs Wednesday through Friday in Las Vegas.
Martinez traveled to Nevada on Tuesday and is to return to New Mexico this weekend.
Darnell said the association is paying for the governor's travel expenses.
Martinez serves on the executive committee of the association, which helps elect Republicans to governorships.
