Fruitland native and Farmington resident Jazzma Hogue has a big boxing match in California tonight.
Fighting on the under card of TOP RANK's Donaire vs. Nishioka HBO pay-per-view card, Hogue (2-2-1) will take on Vic Pasillas (2-0) in a four-round junior featherweight match.
The main event is a 12-round, 122-pound World Junior Featherweight Championship fight between Nonito Donaire and Toshiaki Nishioka. The co-main event is a 10-round, 140-pound WBO Latino Championship fight between Denver's Mike Alvarado and California's Brandon Rios.
The fights take place at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.
Hogue, a 26-year-old Kirtland Central graduate, represents Punch's Boxing Club in Farmington.
