The Piedra Vista boys' golf team picked up its second state qualifying leg with a score of 310 to win the 10-team tournament on Tuesday in Grants.
“It was a good tournament, and we were happy with the turnout,” said PV head coach Floyd Kurley.
Jackson Gurley took the medalist honors with a score of 72.
Riley Rahm shot a 75 for PV, and Patrick Gregoire added a 79.
Kirtland Central took second at the event with a score of 330.
This tournament concludes the fall golf season and the Panthers will need to pick up one more qualifying leg in the spring to make the state tourney.
